This definitely felt like a series finale, and I'm thinking it was written to serve as one. Luckily, it has at least 13 more episodes, and I will absolutely follow it to Fridays.
Britta needs to be curtailed. I'm glad evil Abed freaked her out. Maybe she won't try to play psychiatrist after only a year of psych classes again. She's not even out of the psych gen ed courses yet. But, it is Britta, so thinking she's automatically the group's therapist isn't new.
While I love John Goodman as Vice Dean Layton, I won't miss the AC school. It's way too over-the-top, even by Greendale standards. But I did laugh so hard at Troy saying that this is a trade school and a two-year degree to fix a box that makes rooms cooler. Way to put it in perspective!
Jeff has come a long ways since the pilot episode to get to the point where he decided to search for his father. And to worry so much about a final, yet sacrifice everything for a friend. Although we do see how he became a fairly successful lawyer although he doesn't have a degree (and probably didn't have much knowledge of the legal system prior to getting a job at a law firm.)
So, Starburns is alive, huh? And cutting his hair like Jeff's? What's that about?
