The Savages won the best family in the parade.
-
ABC started the airing of this episode with the Savages' dog sitting on the couch, barking, and scolling text reading:
Oh, hello. I'm the dog
from "Complete Savages".
Tonight, we have
a real treat: the legendary
"lost" episode.
It was supposed to air
before the Super Bowl,
but I got bored
and buried the tape.
Then I promptly
forgot where.
When ABC offered
an eight dollar reward,
I remembered. Enjoy.

It's revealed that Mrs. Riley's first name is Agnes.
-
The song that drives the teens away, "Afternoon Delight," was a hit by the 70's group, The Starland Vocal Band.
-
Probably because of the airing order switch as mentioned above, the character Kyle's hand is still broken in this episode (as it was in the Savage XXX-mas episode) but it was not broken in the last week's episode (Save a Dance for Me).
-
When the associate enters the stock room and dumps out a basket full of lingerie for the boys to fold, there are still three or four left. Why didn't she takes those out as well?
-
When Old Lady Riley meets Nick to swap the leg for his State Championship ball, she comes out on a motorized scooter. Once the exchange happens, and she chases Nick from her property, you can see two legs underneath the blanket, even though she has an artificial leg.
-
When the dog is kidnapped, the name of the dog was still unrevealed. When they see the dog across the street, the boys say "She took our dog." and "Give us our dog back!" and "Dad, she took our dog." Wouldn't people normally say the name of the dog during all the commotion?
-
Angela's last name is Anderson.
-
When Misty takes out the turkey, she uses her bear hands. Wouldn't it be hot if it was cooking?
-
When T.J. finishes his report and saves it to the memory stick, wouldn’t his report still be showing on the computer? He doesn’t close the top nor do we see T.J. shutting down the computer. Even if he does not have a printer or a floppy disk in the house, he still could have brought the lab top to school and I'm sure one of the teachers would have had a disk to give him so he could save it to there and transfer it to another computer and print it out.
-
Jack says he will be 18 in three months, but in earlier episodes it was stated that he was 16.
-
When Chris comes down shirtless, Kyle & T.J. are playing a videogame, but with different joysticks.
-
Shaun Sipos plays the guitar & sings "Werewolves of London" with the dog howling along!

At first the soda Sam and Angela are drinking is almost gone, but then it seems to be almost full when Sam is drinking it when asking out Angela.
