  • Originally based partially on the Conan movies, "Conan The Adventurer" was a classic half hour cartoon featuring the many adventures of Conan.

Again I have to state my disbelief that no one has reviewed this forgotten classic. Thanks to the internet shows like these are being remembered again for their worth.

The show ran for two years and was an above average cartoon for it's time. Part of the show was geared for kids but others could be geared for teens and adults (such as the

    Canimated violence and suggestive dialogue).

Conan's parents are turned to stone by Wrath-Ramon whose basically a snake demon. Throughout the series Conan battles Wrath-Ramon and enemies like him.

They were quite a few memorable characters like Wingfan,

Snagg (all servents to Wrath), Jasmine, Epimetrius (friends of Conan).

The animation wasn't cheap either, the toon definitely looks like it had a decent budget to work with and it shows in the quality. The cartoon manages to incorporate aspects of the movie like witchcraft (there were many episodes featuring magic and the supernatural), plenty of swordfights and many different storylines.

Overall, this is another forgotten classic from the 90's that really needs to be shown again and put on DVD.
