Show Summary
Created in 2002, Construction Site is a television series produced by The Jim Henson Company. The children's show featured seven construction vehicles as they lived and worked on a construction site. They are Bozer the Bulldozer, Diggs the Backhoe, Scooch the Front-End Dumper, Carrie the Forklift, Carl the Crane, Lug the Dump Truck, and Maxine the Cement Mixer. Many of the episodes featured visiting construction vehicles, including Flatty the Flatbed, Scratch the Dumper, Gertie the Dump Truck, Dumper the Jumper Truck, Big Rig, and Kevin the Crane. The vehicles never had human interaction, and each of the vehicles is a live-action animatronic puppet model. Directed by Mak Wilson and written by Paul Larson, Jocelyn Stevenson, and P. Kevin Strader, the characters on Construction Site are voiced by Brian Herring, Mark Jefferis, Mak Wilson, Charlotte Bellamy, and Angie Greaves. Construction Site aired for four seasons and continues today to be broadcast in syndication.moreless
