    When a young woman is found dead the ADAs do what they can to help find the person responsible for her death. The pressure builds when they find out that she is the daughter of a Congressman. With all the ADAs on the case, they work around the clock to try and get as much information to help the case as possible. They are on a time crunch and hope that they will be able to secure an inditment before their time runs out.

    This is the first half of the two part seies finale. It sets up the second have perfectly, and by the end of this episode you are dying to find out what happens next. And though you know the end is near, the storyline is so well written that for a second you almost forget that fact.moreless

    Based on the NY bouncer Darryl Littlejohn's murder of a young grad student sets up the story for Conviction
    As life is imatating art with the murder going against the DA's trying to bring him to justice
    Only to have a shootout at the courthouse as they are fighting not just for justice
    But most of all, they are fighting for their lives and trying to make it in one piece!!

    • This case mirrors the Imette St. Guillen murder in NYC. St. Guillen was a graduate student at John Jay college of Criminal Justice from Boston, MA. She went out with friends on the evening of February 24, 2006. She was last seen alive at "The Falls" on the Lower East Side. She was found in Brooklyn, raped, tortured, and murdered. A bouncer at the bar, Darryl Littlejohn, was charged and indicted in Brooklyn after DNA evidence connected him to the crime.
