Steele is trying a murder case in which the judge seems to have it out for him. Brian Peluso tries a case involving a young man who shot a cop and has to deal with a backlash from the NYPD when it comes to light that his star witness may have been lying in favor of the people. Potter and Finn are instructed to take acting classes by Cabot. During the classes he realizes that he shouldn't have let his attacker get away so easily. Rossi deals with some of her family issues when her father does not show up for her mother's birthday dinner.
This was a decent episode. There wasn't the tension between Cabot and Rossi that you are used to seeing in the past couple of episodes. It would have been nice to have something like that still lingering around, because I think that is what made some of the previous episodes so interesting.
