  • Cliffhanger, sure! Finale, at least a taste of it.

And so ends this great show. While the last 6 minutes or so started a new plot for a season 3 that is not going to happen (apparently the makers did not expect the show to be axed).

Well, I for one expected a much worse and much less fulfilling episode, but the sidetrack of hunting down John Wilkes Booth in Virginia was just what the show needed to come to at least some kind of conclusion. We were not stuck in New York anymore, had some personal moments with each of the main characters (except Francis). It was an acceptable way to say goodbye.

Would I like more of Copper? Sure, but I also don't have to regret watching 2 great seasons of it for getting no closure at all.moreless

Well, this episode would've been good as a season finale. Unfortunately, BBC America announced last week it has been cancelled. So, as the now series finale, not such a good ending. I only started watching when season 2 premiered, but found the show very good, very gritty entertainment. Still, so-called reality shows like Survivor and Biggest Loser live on, I guess because 1) people are brain dead, and 2) they are cheaper to produce than scripted shows. Fare thee well, Copper, we hardly knew ye!moreless
