Peas In A Pod in my opinion is better than Surprise, Surprise but they are both good.
In Peas In A Pod Corneil meets Humbert a dog that looks almost identical to himself. He tricks Bernie into thinking Humbert is Corneil so he would have some free time. Bernie accidentily injures Humbert and believes Humbert(thinks he is Corneil) has lost his ability to speak. He goes to a hospital but they think he is crazy and throws him out. Corneil hears Humbert's owner say he has a frail heart. Bernie goes on a roller coaster to try to make Humbert recover his memory. Corneil tries to prevent Humbert from looking. Later he learns Humbert's owner meant Humbert was just sad.
In Surprise, Surprise Bernie needs to arrange an anniversary for John and Beth. After Corneil hears Bernie doesn't arrange things well he asks Bernie if he can take over. Bernie says Corneil can but he will get their present. Corneil does a wonderful job arranging John and Beth's anniversary. Bernie wonders what John bought for Beth so he looks inside the present. Corneil asks him what he is doing but he advoids telling the truth. Bernie accidentily drops the necklace, which was in the present, in the garbage. Corneil and Bernie go to the dump to look for the necklace.moreless

Peas in a Pod: Corneil comes across another dog that is owned by one of Beth's friends, though this dog seems to resemble Corneil in just about every way possible. However, Corneil begins to wonder if there may be more to this dog than meets the eye.
Surprise Surprise: When Bernie is assigned to dog-sit Corneil on John and Beth's anniversary, John asks Bernie to pick up her gift for Beth as well. However, Corneil keeps overhearing past issues where Bernie always messes up simple tasks, but will he be able to ensure his owners' anniversary party goes off without incident?moreless
