Karen: We do traffic studies in Dog River? Seems like a waste of money. Fitzy: We don't have to do it. Then again, we don't have to have two police officers either.
Brent: It's the Dog River Howler. The information is sketchy at best. Remember last year when those coyotes were coming into town, eating people's cats? (scene cuts to the newspaper headline, "Cattle Killed by Werewolfs")
Hank: Lacey, you've been trying to get a traffic light in this town for years. Lacey: Hank, I moved here ten months ago.
Oscar: I don't want a traffic light. No one in Dog River does. Lacey: What about the train crossing signal? You like that all right. Oscar: That's different. It goes, "Ding, ding, ding!", and the arm swings up and down. It puts on a good show.
Fitzy: It's time Dog River joins the 20th century. Karen: Then we'd only be one century behind.
Lacey: Hey, Brent, before you order, try one of these. Brent: Food before I order. Let's keep this new policy.
Wanda (to Emma): I didn't know you could draw. Oscar: She draws, paints... all that crap. Emma: He's so supportive.
Wanda: Lots of people have tattoos. King George V had a tattoo. Brent: So? One in five kings gets a tattoo, you jump on the bandwagon.
Hank: Hey Brent, can you loan me some cash? Brent: Is that like your official greeting now?
Oscar: The next thing you know, there'll be advanced left turn signals and computer chips stapled to our ears! Hank: That's pretty far fetched! Left turn signals!
Davis: No one's above the law, Karen. Karen: Steven Seagal is above the law. Davis: Oh, yeah. That movie rocked. Above The Law is a 1988 action movie starring Steven Seagal as a former police officer and CIA operative named Nico Toscani. Nico decides to fight the CIA when he learns that they are involved in illegal drug deals and arms sales.
Brent: Somebody might want to soup up their rototiller. Add a fuel injector to their weed whacker. When Brent explains why he put the car magazines next to the gardening magazines, he sounds like he's been watching Tim Allen add "more power" to things on Home Improvement. Tim's actions frequently led to electric shocks and explosions.
