  • This is winter in Saskatchewan?

I watch Corner Gas every week, although I missed the first season last year, but I'm catching up on those with the reruns that CTV is showing. I think the show in general is very funny, and this one was no exception in that regard.

However, this particular episode was unintentionally funny as well. I was howling with laughter at the exterior shots (stock footage, I know) that they showed of the town. This is the one episode that acknowledges winter. The one episode when the residents of Dog River break out their winter coats and gloves. But they only need to wear them inside the curling rink, cause outside, it's all green grass and blue skies. Which is why I titled this "Alternate Reality," because that's certainly not what Saskatchewan looks like in the winter. Where was the snow? I was actually surprised, based on all the other episodes, to see that they all even ~owned~ winter coats and gloves.

    But otherwise an enjoyable episode.
