      ADD TRIVIA
      • (The Ruby is decorated for the wedding) Hank: They've turned the place into a gay bar! Brent: Again with the gay bar. Hank previously referred to the change in decor at The Ruby as Lacey's attempt to turn it into a gay bar in the first episode, Ruby Reborn.

      • At the end of the episode, we see one of the photos from the original 1965 wedding where Oscar and Emma both dressed like Elvis; in it, they're wearing big pompadour wigs and white jump suits. In 1965, Elvis did not dress that way; he didn't adopt that look until the 1970s.

      ADD QUOTES
      • Emma: This whole thing is getting out of control. There's not going to be a wedding. Davis: Why not? Emma: Would you marry Oscar?

      • Hank: It's all the fault of that damn hockey card. Brent: Curse you, Darryl Sittler! (Darryl Sittler is hammering a nail and smacks his thumb) Darryl Sittler: Ow! That's the third time I've done that. It's like I've been cursed.

      • Oscar: If we are going to have this wedding, I'd be proud of you to be my best man. Brent: Aww, geez dad, I'd love to! But I can't, I'm giving mom away. Oscar: You're useless! (stomps off angrily) Brent: (shrugs) We almost had a "moment" there.

      • Wanda: You think that you know the law because you're a cop? ...In Dog River? Karen: I also watch Law & Order!

      • Wanda: Guess what? Brentsy's a bastard! Lacey: No! He can be inconsiderate some times... Wanda: No, I mean a literal bastard. Oscar and Emma were never married.

      • Emma: Look, Brent, it...it was a different time. Your father and I were young. We could hardly keep our hands off each other. Brent: (throws hands in air) Okay, okay, I'm instantly repressing that.

      • Emma: Oh, Brent, look. Baby pictures. Brent: (looking) Big round head, thin hair. I haven't changed much.

    • ALLUSIONS (4)

      ADD ALLUSIONS
      • Oscar: Stupid ketchup… It's spelled wrong. "Catsup". "Catsup" was at one time the official spelling. H.J.Heinz exclusively used the more phonetic spelling "Ketchup". In 1981 the USDA school lunch guidelines used the spelling "Ketchup" making that spelling the new standard, as other companies could no longer sell their product labled "catsup" to school lunch programs.

      • Oscar: Hell of a way to run a railroad. This is a popular saying indicating a chaotic situation. It comes from a cartoon by Peter Arno (1904-1968).

      • Karen: I also watch Law & Order! Law & Order is a long running American crime drama produced by Dick Wolf. The show features both police investigation, and courtroom legal battles.

      • Hank: A wince is just a wince. Brent: A sigh is just a sigh. This refers to the song "As Time Goes By", made famous in the 1942 movie Casablanca. The line in the song is "...a kiss is just a kiss, a sigh is just a sigh..."
