A new opportunity arises that may allow Brent to follow his dreams.
  • A very fitting end to the "Dog River" saga. The episode wraps ups the story of this fictitious town and it's residents. If you were a fan and at some point dropped out and missed this episode, You must find and view this one!You will not be disappointed.moreless

One of the best episodes of this series. It is unfortunate that it was the series finale. As I said in my review, "You must find and view this one!" The end of the show tells the viewer what the future holds (held) for the characters. They each have a synopsis that is very true to each character, and in some cases, quite surprising.
  • A sad, but beautiful farewell.

When Corner Gas first started, I loved it, but I feared that it would end just as soon as it began. I figured that being a Canadian TV show meant its ultimate demise. Thank god that wasn't the case. Corner Gas set a standard for Canadian television that I honestly believe will never be matched. This final episode nearly had me in tears, but not in a bad way. I was sad to see it go, but glad it went on the top of its game. The finale was subtle, quiet, and prety much "about nothing", and I wouldn't want it any other way. That's what Corner Gas has been all about, so why end with a flashy bang? Brent Butt, and everyone else involved with the show, I give you a loving round of applause. The daily goings-on of Dog River will be missed, but never forgotten.moreless
  • Good, but not what I was expecting...

I have always found Corner Gas to be a really witty show, if not always a gut buster. I guess I was expecting the final episode to be a gut buster, though I don't know why...
The story line for the episode seemed almost like that out of a series in the midst of its run; not at the end of its run. I guess the difference is that this gem of a show went on its own terms, and the episode itself just shows that while life changes, even in Dog River, it does go on.
A classy, understated farewell Brent. Thanks for the comedy!moreless
