Dennis reveals he got the 25 at the dogs but Elsie doesn't believe him. Ena recovers in hospital. Lucille goes missing whilst in Esther's care. Concepta Riley returns from Ireland and asks the Walkers if they'll have her back as live-in barmaid. They happily agree. May is upset when Christine doesn't want to see her boyfriend Malcolm anymore. Ena is visited by daughter Vera Lomax and Martha.
