Cougar Town

Jules helps Travis out with some essay work – he's heading to college next year. Laurie calls, drunk from a club, telling some story about slapping someone and PMSing hard. She needs a ride home and a place to stay for the night, so Jules heads over to pick her up. After a very "touchy" sleep, Laurie heads home in the morning, but they spot a girl leaving Grayson's house in a cab. Jules comments – it's early so Jules asks if Grayson even fed her breakfast. Jules and Laurie head off. Jules meets Josh for lunch, their 7th date. Almost at the 10 date rule – they've been planning to have sex after their 10th date. She's so excited that she runs to tell Laurie.

The next morning, Jules prepares for the day and night. She has several beautifying appointments. Also Travis is going to head over to Bobby's for the night. They head over to Bobby's new place, a boathouse! But it's not even on water; it's on concrete piers. Meanwhile, at Grayson house, another girl has slept over, except Grayson finds her very annoying in the morning. While Grayson expresses his anger outside by yelling, both Jules and Ellie overhear him. Ellie says she is not connecting with her baby (Stan). Meanwhile, Bobby and Travis bond over the boat, affectionately named "Jealous Much". Andy heads over to the boathouse as well. He starts rocking out with Bobby; Travis becomes horrified.

Jules heads out for her appointments and gets what's probably the first manicure and bikini wax in one procedure. She gets a call from Laurie who needs her help again. She heads home to prepare some more – there's a lot of work to be done. Josh finally comes over and Jules has just sunk into a hot bath, waiting for him. Josh joins her in the tub, but it becomes cramped, Jules saying, "I did not realize how tall you are". Finally it's all over, but Jules hears a faint hint of disappointment. Josh's voice goes high-pitched when he lies! The next morning, Jules discusses what happened, noting her score of a 6 out of 10. Laurie and Ellie try to console Jules.

Meanwhile, the next day Travis tells Bobby that he is embarrassing to him. Andy gives Bobby some support. Grayson serves Laurie, Jules, and Ellie at the restaurant/bar. They laugh at how annoyed he is with "Candee", the fling he's been with the past few nights. They head to the beach for a little relaxation. Ellie and Laurie note that she spent the whole day, even the last 20 years putting others before herself. They encourage her to be more selfish once in a while! Bobby and Josh call at the same time – Bobby wants some help with Travis – but Jules heads home to be with Josh. It turns out Josh is still into the relationship and they head off to the bedroom for round two. Bobby, meanwhile, tries to talk to Travis and says that embarrassment builds character. Travis returns the next day. Bobby thanks Jules for letting him handle this problem – instead of letting Jules take care of talking to Travis, it really helped Bobby become closer to Travis instead.
