Yes, there are several guides on this site suffering from the same problem. The sad thing is that the staff can't catch them and therefore it will always remain a problem.

Now I get it!!! I was wondering why all this people, who really didn't like the show, kept watching it?
If there was a show that I gave a 3.2 score to just once, no way would I continue to watch it season after season...

Wow thanks for the explanation. I've been wondering that for some time now. Why would someone keep watching a show they hate so much? And if they didn't watch it, why would they bother rating? It's ticked me off because Cougar Town has really blossomed and hit its stride and doesn't deserve the bad ratings at all.

Well, this season's ratings are not very flattering, they went down the toilet. The latest episode aired on 4/10/2012 received only 4.9 million viewers and 1.5 in demo and they even finished last in the timeslot.

Well, the show gets little to no network promotion and suffers from being a very late entry again this year. Debuting a show separate from all others and when MLB season starts up and people are doing spring breaks doesn't do it any favors. I'm guessing the network is slipping it a poison pill for some reason. Maybe they have a pet show from their in-house production studio they'd like to put on in place of Cougar Town. Rules of Engagement has a similar problem but RoE has pretty much run its course anyway. This show ought to have a fourth season left in it.

You're right. Networks always find these shows to be unfair to. I really hope that CT will get a shot at season 4, but with the full 22 episode order + there might even be some leftover episodes from this season to burn off.

I've not read anywhere about leftover CT episodes, but, these days the networks don't seem to bother "burning off" unaired episodes. They seem to leave that for DVD release or "other" sources of distribution. Perhaps a lesson learned from the Drew Carey Show experience.
Cougar Town certainly did not have any powerful friends (sorry!) at their old network, so the new home might work out better.
