Cougar Town

Jules lets someone out of her house at 5 in the morning. She says she really appreciates him keeping the neighborhood on the "down-low" about her "business". Suddenly, she hears a dog bark, so she sends the man off at a run. However, it turns out that it's just Ellie, who got up at 5 AM just to prank Jules. That's dedication! But Jules vows to get her back.

Turn's out, Ellie is up because her baby woke her up, not really to scare her. Bobby walks into the house too, saying he has a golf lesson to teach at 6:30 and he wants some coffee. Jules asks him, "What are you doing here, do you know how divorce works?". Travis also wakes, having to study for an algebra test. Next, Andy comes by to pass on the baby to Ellie to take a shower. Everyone starts telling war stories of their 20s years. It turns out that Jules doesn't have much of an interesting one – everyone else's trumps hers. Anyways, it's about an hour later now, so everyone heads out – Jules grabs her paper and says hello to Grayson. They are both recently divorced, so Jules continues to try to make conversation.

Jules heads into work with Laurie who suggests that Jules live it up right now. She suggests bar hopping, road trips, and pancakes at 3 in the morning. She plans to take an adventure that night and invites Jules to come along. Jules already has plans with Ellie for a movie, but calls to try and convince Ellie to come along as well. Ellie is not so enthused.

Jules heads to the bar where Grayson works, where he is slightly annoyed by Jules. Ellie can't take much more of it, so she heads home early so she can "take her bra off"! Laurie introduces a friend to Jules and a hilarious ensemble of pictures comes onto screen. First, Jules, Laurie, and her friend take shots and prance about the bar they are in. They play on the dancing pole, laugh about Jules' purse size (which is enormous), head into the men's washroom, and get escorted out by security. From there, Laurie and Jules play with a shopping cart, get chastised by police officers, and eat pancakes at 3 AM. But then the police officers show up again and somehow they are on the beach. At one point, the picture shows Jules holding one of the officer's gun. She is awakened by Laurie in one of the houses she's selling. Jules says she feels totally fine – Laurie comments that she's probably still drunk.

Sure enough, Jules is totally immobilized by her hangover a few hours later. She dunks her head in the pool as Grayson returns her humungous purse. Ellie tries to console her. Jules wants Andy to head over to Grayson's to try to be friends with him, but also be mean to him (trying to get him back for his behavior towards Jules). Andy heads over with pizza and beer. "Why?" asks Grayson. "You know… I'm not sure," says Andy. Grayson is leaving anyway to head to work, so he lets Andy in, where he lounges, eating and drinking the beer.

Meanwhile, Jules pulls a muscle trying to practice a position on Josh (the date from the beginning). Ellie plans a night of staying in, but Laurie calls with plans for tonight. Jules says she's in, despite the protest from Ellie. Grayson confronts Jules over her behavior in front of the house. He doesn't want to be a part of her adventures. Later, Andy is calling for Ellie who is eavesdropping on the call and has given Andy a script of questions asking about why she needs to go out. Jules says she hates that she has missed out on things. Ellie has had those memories, but Jules says she hasn't. She heads out back to Grayson's place with Laurie and her friend. But even Laurie suggests Jules head home - she is obviously in pain. Jules in bed, Ellie comes by and have a heart-to-heart about getting older and settling in. Ellie says that Jules does have at least one story and Jules says you're right and grabs her phone to show her some of the pictures we saw earlier.

The next day, Grayson and Jules meet outside, grabbing their paper again. She notes that Grayson waited for her, so they are now totally paper buddies. Meanwhile, Andy gets in the car, heading to work. Suddenly, Jules and Ellie pop up from the back seat, causing Andy to press the gas and hit his garbage bins. Julies and Ellie have made up!
