  • This week's Cougar Town ep brings its usual mix of wit and crazy-obsessive-woman humor as Jules struggles yet again with her abandonment issues.

    "Good"
Don't get me wrong, I love Cougar Town. For me, its like my weekly fix of crazy, where I can sit in my pyjamas and laugh at someone else's issues, on my metaphorical high horse that of course, I would never be that needy/clingy/obsessive/interfering. It feel good to feel superior, you know? This week's ep revolved around Travis chosing colleges, and Jules struggling to accept that her little boy is all growned up (tear!). As usual the humour and wit is there, and I love the banter between the different actors, but Jules' constant whining is getting old. Saving grace of the show came in the form of Smith, Laurie's boy of the hour, who gave the ep some direction. Of course the kiss (FINALLY) between Jules and Grayson was long-awaited and didn't disappoint, but where are the writers going with this? The next ep suggests they may take it into friends-with-benefits-land which will see the predictable 'oh wait we had sex now everything has to be awkward' storyline which I don't know if I'll be able to watch. Of course looking forward to next week's Cougar Town but I wish the writers would take the show further and either step up the jokes or the drama, give us something to keep hanging on. Preferably both, who doesn't love a bit of funny drama?moreless
  • Great! I enjoyed this concept!

Seriously have been enjoying the last few episodes, and I really thought that this one was no exception!

The storyline was great, with Travis being accepted into two colleges, and Jules realising that she must let him go (as suggested by the episode titel). These sad times actually develop her love-life, as things heat up with neighbour Grayson.

The storylien was interesting, but I do think that the humour level is not up to scratch just yet. Could use a little work, but I'm glad this show is on the up, and I can't wait for some more!

Keeep it up, Cougar Town, and this ocould turn into a great show!moreless

Jules: Wow. (Grayson picks her up as they continue to kiss) Is it gonna totally kill the mood if I stop to brush my teeth and shave my legs?
      Grayson: Yeah.
Jules: Fine. (They continue to kiss as Grayson carries her up the stairs)

    • Travis: (About everyone's drinking) It's eight in the morning.
