  • Wow, this really was painful. I especially dislike the male characters on this show.

This is the episode I gave up on this show. I watched half of it and just had to turn it off. It could have had something to do with my head ache and I just wasn't feeling it, or I could have just seen sense and gave up on it. I am glad I stuck around long enough to see the episode before this one with Lisa Kudrow in it, even though the episode wasn't great, it was however great to see Courtney and Lisa back together again even if they were nothing like their previous characters on Friends (not that I am comparing them characters to these ones). But anyway, as I was saying, I just got bored of the bad jokes and mostly the annoying guys on the show that I couldn't stick around anymore. I am still a huge Courtney fan though and can't wait to see her in Scream 4. Yay!moreless
  • Jules and Jeff are getting serious and this is bumming out Bobby and Grayson as they both have a thing for her. Laurie's boyfriend goes back to school and she is upset. So she threatens to do something stupid. Grayson and Travis stop her.moreless

Cougar Town was officially given a second season this past week along with Modern Family and The Middle on ABC Wednesday nights.

Tonight's episode was a little bit manic much in the vain of Monica/Jules and Courtney Cox. I have a feeling she really must be a little like the characters she plays. Also I believe Courtney was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a comedy for this season.

Jules and Jeff are getting exclusive and this is freaking Jules out as she has only been divorced for eight months. Laurie has a new boyfriend who won't sleep with her as he has to go back to school after a very short time and he wants to see her again when he comes back. Laurie gets upset and Grayson using Travis ends up stopping her from doing something she might regret. The ending to this section is a little bit of a surprise. Grayson and Bobby spend most of the episode mopping around as they both really like Jules and are upset she has got this new relationship. Finally Elle and Andy are there to support and interject in everyone elses storylines.

A pretty standard sitcom episode. Entertaining and fun to watch. They have done better and this was an improvement over the last episode though. Thanks for reading...moreless

    • Bobby: You get a tiny leak in a dam, you gotta plug it up real quick or you'll be in a car with no breaks traveling down trouble highway. Grayson: Wait, is the highway flooded? Where is this dam? You are mixing metaphors like a crazy person.

    • Travis: Are there really women out there that will have sex with me just because they're mad about something? Laurie: Oh yeah, for sure. Travis: This is very exciting news. Laurie: You know there are also girls that will sleep with you because their friends are prettier. Travis: This just keeps getting better.
