  • Sorry all hate-wishers - this was a gem of a little piece of comedy!

    "Great"
Let's get this straight: CT is not supposed to be a knock-down drag-out comedy - it's a light tipsy ride through emotions and (more or less) funny skits between the emotions. And to be honest, the writers are steadfast and occasionally have brilliant little ideas that run through shows. "Don't make me say you" is a fantastic idea, and if most of you don't see it - it's your loss. The emotional rollercoasters and worries, albeit blown up as in every sit-com are real and timeless. What carries the show repeatedly are the supporting staff - as long as they continue to be written well, the show will have a special place on my schedule!
We actually had a lot of ground to cover in this episode (cheating definitions, wife-husband, boyfriend-girlfriend...) and yet it all seemed smooth and all characters stayed true to themselves - and that's something most better rated shows can't achieve. I remain faithful to this underrated show! (I may occasionally cheat on it though)moreless
  • Not as good as last week's, but still a worthwhile episode.

This was a fairly decent episode of Cougar Town. It wasn't outstanding like a couple of recent ones have been, but it was definitely a worthwhile watch, and I really enjoyed it.

The storyline was interesting, althought there were a few flaws. It wasnt highly rcaptivating or spectacular, but it was definitely good. The storyline was fun and exciting but not amazing.

There was also a decent amount of humour in it, although hthere could and should have been more. It was funny but not hilarious. There were osome great stuff, such as Laurie and her story about her dad and ucncle!

Overall, a good episode that I'd recommend. Not spectacular, but good!moreless

    • Ellie: (About hanging out with Grayson's new girlfriend) Oh relax, I didn't come over here to mess up your relationship, I like her. Although she did tell me you're not very good at foreplay in the chest area. You might wanna skip that next time.
      Grayson: I hate you.
      Ellie: I don't care.

    • Laurie: Why wouldn't you just tell Ellie you went to the petting zoo with me? Andy: Right...so she can picture us lying down with all the tiny, beautiful animals crawling all over our naked bodies. Laurie: That's gross in, like, a million different ways.

    • Laurie: I don't think it's cheating if you're on vacation, if it's out of pity, or if you both keep your tops on.
