The conclusion to season finale 'Dilemma' deals with the fallout and the resulting consequences. Senior IRA figures quickly realise that Luke Brenner and all his known associate, namely Peter Sinclair, are involved in the death of one of their most significant members and, as such, revenge becomes their overriding priority. Harvey Went, Peter Sinclair's mentor at Scotland Yard, tells Alexander that he is Paris and wants a face-to-face meeting to discuss the imminent danger Alexander has placed Peter Sinclair and Luke Brenner in.
