Recurring Role |
In the "Revenge of the Chicken from Outer Space," on a projection screen, Courage is shown shooting the ray gun at the outer space chicken, but in "The Chicken from Outer Space," the chicken fired the ray gun.
In "Journey to the Center of Nowhere," when Courage says, "Umm, this Muriel is not our true enemy," his legs turn black for a split second.
Courage: (typing on the computer) How do I get rid of eggplants?
Computer: Throw them in the garbage, you twit!
Courage: No! Real eggplants that attack people!
Courage: (to the eggplants, diguised as an eggplant) Muriel is not our enemy! We must attack... the grocery store!
Courage: This still shouldn't happen to dog!
Muriel: That's it, no more liver for you!
Howard Hoffman did the voice of The Chicken in "The Chicken From Outer Space" (the pilot episode). He also does the voice of The Chicken in "Revenge of the Chicken from Outer Space."
At the end of "The Chicken from Outer Space," Courage held the screen open and said,"This shouldn't happen to a dog!" Then the screen closed on his nose and he said, "OUCH!" In "Revenge of the Chicken from Outer Space," the same scene took place except this time Courage said,"This still shouldn't happen to a dog!," and he said it in his regular voice.
It is now impossible to see "The Chicken from Outer Space," although the sequels are still around with parts from those.
The Hobbit
The eggplants debating and arguing over how to cook their captives is very similar to a scene from the Tolkien book, The Hobbit, where a couple of monsters (trolls) do the same.
Episode Title: Journey to the Center of Nowhere
"Journey to the Center of Nowhere" is a parody of the movie Journey to the Center of the Earth.
Creator: Dil
The creator of the show is named Dil. The power that the UFO runs on is made by Dil, as well as the motorcycle that Courage runs on a few scenes later.
