I really liked this show for the short time it was on. Unfortunately I think backstage turmoil did it in. Robin Givens originally played the Nia Peeples role, but it was decided she was wrong for it so she was given a different part. Then Patricia Wettig who was the star of the show, left. It turned out that her last episode was also the last episode of the show, which was too bad because this show had a lot going for it.
