    ...they get a really good actor for the show. Really, the only reason House works is because of Hugh Laurie so they're gonna need someone pretty good for this otherwise the show isn't really gonna work.

    I totally agree with you. It seems like most (if not all) courtroom dramas have a leading character that carries the show (To me, Eli Stone is the only exception, with all of the characters holding their own). Canterbury's Law is a good example of that, with Elizabeth Canterbury being such a House-like character, but in the end not even a good actress like Julianna Margulies could keep the show going.
