Tearjerker due to Jon-Erik's last show!

This show of what should had been just your typical
Average show is a bit sad for a lot of reasons
It is the last show to include Jon-Erik Hexum as
The lead after he shot and killed himself. Again this show
Was made for him and had he not shot and killed himself
Cover-up would had gone on a lot longer! It only
Lasted a year! After his death.

- On October 12, 1984, as the script demanded, Jon-Erik Hexum as Mac Harper would pick up the .44 Magnum by his side and pretend to shoot Rick in a scene for this episode, Golden Opportunity. Only the filming of this scene was again delayed so he rested on a prop bed and went to sleep. He awoke a few minutes later only to discover another delay to which he jokingly placed the prop gun to his head and pulled the trigger. After hours in surgery he was declared brain dead and his organs were donated.
