  • Very good hour.

Another really enjoyable episode of Covert Affairs, as Joan digs into Arthur, while Annie heads to Paris to continue where the last episode left off from - the case was very interesting and there was a lot of action and surprise moments which made it really great. Nice appearance of McQuaid also.

Loved the stuff with Auggie too - definitely plenty of drama around the corner on that front.

Really good hour and really excited for the next one!moreless

Not a bad episode, but it felt poorly-written. Annie did not seem like herself, nor did Auggie. Usually, the setting for tonight would imply it was going to be a good hour of TV, but such was not the case tonight.
  • Who ls The Mole.

    9.5
Annie flies to Paris, where Kravec is planning a big meeting and invites her to a party at the Russian embassy, Auggie and his techs disable the computer systems so she will not be recognized by fingerprint or face. But Kravec, not fooled by his earlier encounter, forcibly drugs Annie and puts her in a car trunk planning to take her to Moscow. McQuaid, who was attending the same party intending (he says) to buy Russian helicopters, follows and rescues her, also wounding and capturing Kravec for interrogation. Asked again by Annie about his private interview with Borz, he says that he has a mole in his company who is selling secrets, but that Borz was no help in his investigation. In DC, Auggie harbors Natasha and plans to break up with Hayley, but the latter's investigation is turning toward Annie and he decides to continue dating her to monitor the situation. The same investigation turns up a driver's license for Calder's paramour in her apparent real name, Stephanie Banks and Calder confirms his trust in her and is then told that she was just part of a random check of the attendees at the gala. Joan asks Auggie for information on Arthur's trip and learns that he was in serious danger in Iraq and she tells Arthur this and they mutually bemoan their situation. Joan then asks Calder to bring Arthur in to Langley as an outside consultant on Russian intelligence. Fantastic Episode.moreless
  • Paris Part Deux

    9.5
Wow once again I was totally blown away by this episode!

I love seeing just how deep the Chicago attack can go

Annie being back in Paris was so awesome her having to literally going into the 'Lions Den' great the tension was pretty amazing and as usual she barely escaped with her life, Annie's luck during her Ops this Season have been kinda bad but it has defiantly made the show more and more intriguing!

Auggie's multiple relationships this episode kinda sucked I mean I understand the position he's in I still don't like it, I felt pretty awful for Natasha tonight not so much for Auggie & Hayley because I no longer like her she's just odd I hope this 'triangle' gets resolved soon as I am getting extremely tired of it.

Calder's predicament with his 'lady friend' is such a moot point I cannot stand it and I hope she goes away soon.

I really enjoyed Annie's Op in Paris she really was laying on the charm and it seemed to work, she hardly broke cover until she had no other choice now if that isn't the mark of a truly talented Operative I don't know what is :) Still Annie really needs to brush up on her defense/hand-to-hand combat I mean if it wasn't for McQuaid she could be gone.

Speaking of McQuaid my opinion is starting to warm toward him with each appearance, he really came through for Annie once again, I loved how he finally opened up about his Navy past with Annie and how he told her just what he needed to get out of Borz. I can't wait see more of this pretty amazing duo come next week.

I also enjoyed Joan & Arthur's conflict in this episode, they are such a amazingly compelling pair to watch, I really felt for both of them this week, I liked how at the end they were able to reach somewhat of a new understanding.

Seeing Joan & Auggie confide in each other about their mutual problems was another highlight of this episode for me, their relationship definably has been on the back-burning in seasons past so to see it somewhat in the forefront this week as totally welcomed by me I love their dynamic!

Next week looks super exciting even more so then this week, I am so psyched!moreless
