  • Really good

Eyal is a well developed character
  • better with less CGI/Greenscreen

I really don't understand this show. They use some awfully bad greenscreen & CGI in the season finale & season opener. Last week they were so lazy they Green-screened the view from Joan's house when Annie is outside, but this week they had the money to film on location in Paris?

I love Oded, so was happy to see his character Eyal return to the show. Auggie & Jai had smaller parts than usual, but were good. Liked Joan's jury duty - nice to see here outside the "lets discuss our marraige at work" scenes.moreless
  • A lot of excitement and action in Paris!

This was definitely a top-notch episode, and one that I thoroughly enjoyed and really loved! Annie's trip to Paris was certainly an exciting and action-packed once, and her mission was actually quite interesting. I enjoyed the scenes with the Mossad officer, as that was definitely some interesting chemistry between the two, and their converstaions were certainly quite interesting!

Furthermore, Joan's scenes at the jury duty were downright hilarious, and I enjoyed the m so much! Poor judge having to confront her every two minutes; I'm sure nobody missed her when she left!

All up, a terrific episoed, and it was a step up from the season premiere, even though that was also very good! Keep it up, guys!moreless

"Good Advices" is a step up for the show from the season premiere, but Covert Affairs still comes off as Burn Notice's less-entertaining little brother. While that series knows how to perfectly combine banter and action, this show is still searching for its voice a little bit. The chase sequences were a little bit misconstrued, Annie escaping the two gunmen was a little bit improbable and dialogue was neither funny nor engaging tonight. Did I enjoy the episode? Sure, it was a good Covert Affairs, but there are a number of glaring flaws in this show that need to be addressed to keep viewership up.

First things first, stop with the "emotional" moments to close out th show every week. There was no need for it tonight.moreless
