  • FROM RUSSIA WITH TRAUMA

Covert Affairs "Rock N' Roll Suicide" Review: Go Go Gadget Go-Pack!

When we last saw Annie Walker at the end of “Let’s Dance,” she had just wasted villainous double agent Lena Smith... and having a stare-down with her ex-boss’s bullet-riddled corpse is exactly where we found Annie upon our return.

  • Episode Summary

The team works together to bring Annie home from a Russian prison.

There is nothing to say about this episode other than it was flawless. I can't find one thing to criticise this hour of television - except it would'v e been nice to have more of it instead of commercials! :P

But in all seriousness, this was a flawless continuation to what has been an amazing series of events in the last few episodes! So much suspense and intrigue throughout the episode! It was amazing! Please keep this up! I loved it! Phenomenal!moreless
    • A Truly Amazing Fall Premiere!

Wow, what a way to come back, this episode was amazing to watch, I'm still on a adrenaline high after watching it!

It was so heartbreaking to see Annie so helpless and alone in the beginning of the episode.

However Auggie (aka the best friend anyone could have!!) was on the case. He immediately and smartly partnered with a familiar and greatly helpful friend.... Eyal Levin!

The prison break and subsequent mad dash out of Russia was absolutely fantastic to watch. Seeing Eyal truly save the day was wonderful! I've always loved Eyal and Annie's slow burgeoning friendship, it was a really good and smart choice to have him save her.

They really make a incredible team!

I just have one question: What's up with Joan?

Anyway If this Fall premiere is any indication I think that the rest of Season 3 is gonna be truly great!moreless

Anni-Eyal simple the best chemistry.... hope it will get into more of a personal level.
    • I had to give this one a 10

Awesome episode. Real Bond stuff here. Hope it continues in this line. I am not sorry to have lost the lighter version of Annie, this is a lot more fun!

Terrific episode....It seems the only way to get things done is to buck the bureaucracy, not ask permission and break protocol. Auggie's clever unsanctioned plan, Eyal's personal/professional risks rescuing his Neshema and Annie's solid reliance on her intuitive ability in perilous situations. The tension between Arthur and Joan is obvious and interesting. Joan's struggle with trusting her people (Auggie and Annie) when it conflicts with the rules humanizes her but it's unfamiliar territory. Hmmmm.the pills and being unreachable for hours. BTW, how did Arthur miss double agent Lena for so many years under his watch he has some explaining to do.moreless
