"Sad Professor" was a good episode of Covert Affairs a show that I know I have been bashing as of late, but they stepped up tonight. They gave us a concise storyline that was easy to follow, teased us with a few tricks along the way such as his wife holding the gun (but we obviously knew she wasn't working against them) and another moment at the end that had us wondering if Annie would tell her sister what she does. A well-scripted episode with some heart behind it and enough action to justify my male libido. Covert Affairs is good summer fun, but it seems like this season in between strong episodes like this they are content on giving us filler installments like the past few weeks. Fortunately, not tonight.moreless
  • Not as interesting as most other episodes of this season.

This was definitely a sptep backwards for Covert Affaris, but the episode wasn't too bad. The storyline was OK with Annie's college professor, but it didn't have hthat suspense factor that the last few episodes have certainly had.

Furthermore, I have to say that I loved the very beginning of the episode, in which Annie is pursued by her sister on her way to work at the CIA, so that was quite hilarious and I really hthoroughly enjoyed that! Superb scene!

All up, some interesting aspects to this episode, but as a whole, it was a step back from its predecessors and I hope that the episode for next week is better.moreless
