Red Guy's Role: The Devil
In 1995, Cartoon Network took a big leap with a new series called "World Premiere Toons". Each week they would air new original short films from newly discovered animators. One of the films was "No Smoking" by David Feiss. "No Smoking" was so different and became such a success, that it was picked up into a series called "Cow and Chicken", in 1997.
This episode has, however, been shown several times since on Cartoon Network in the UK, as part of the "What a Cartoon" slot.
The last time this episode aired was the week of the "Buffalo Gals/Cow and Chicken Reclining" premiere. This episode has never been seen since then because, in this cartoon, the Red Guy is known as The Devil and Chicken is lured into Hell because he wants to smoke cigarettes.
