  • We get to see a bit of Faye's past. Another perfect session. It's all about character development.

    "Perfect"
The most important thing about this session relating to the main storyline is Faye's past, in which we get to see the lab in which Faye was frozen, along with some guest characters. The most important guest character we see is Whitney, who helped Faye escape from the hospital, and all that debt (for the time being). He compares himself to prince charming and compares Faye to sleeping beauty. Anyways, these flashback scenes are good every once in a while, because they make the viewer empathize with the main characters. If you don't like the characters in a series, chances are you won't like the series. That's what these episodes are for, and even though they might seem random or filler to some, to me they are all little pieces of the puzzle that somehow make watching the series that much better.moreless

    ADD QUOTES
    • coming episode Jet: So I have to admit, the next episode of Cowboy Bebop is, well, it's kind of depressing. Very depressing actually. The only characters that show up are a bunch of musty old guys. I hate to say this, but it's kind of heavy-handed. Children shouldn't watch it. Ladies should avoid it, too. And on top of that, it's better if you young guys don't tune in either. Next episode: "Black Dog Serenade". Oh, all you old guys. I wouldn't miss this one if I were you.

    • Final Preview Faye: The past is the past... and the future is the future. A man is a man, and a woman is a woman. I am who I am, and you are who you are. Like it really matters anyway....

    • Faye: I may never know anything about my past. Spike: Doesn't really matter does it? Faye: Easy for you to say, at least you have a past. Spike: And you have a future. That's what counts.

    • Jet: Take note: when others are snoozing, Jet is on the job!

    • Faye: But why are you helping me like this? Whitney: A Prince has to protect sleeping beauty, that's the way it works.

    • Jet(holding up a frozen fish): They're no good, it's full of toxic dioxins. I saved these for evidence a while back but umm...hunh? (Jet notices Ed trying to bite into one of the fish) Hey, hold on, I know you're hungry but those things are poisonous!

    • Dr. Bacchus: I'm Dr. Bacchus. You know, Bacchus? The Bacchus that drowned more humans than Neptune. Have you ever heard of that Bacchus? I used to be an alcoholic back then. Bacchus was drowning because of Bacchus! Wow, that was a good one! (Dr. Bacchus then begins to laugh hysterically)

    • Faye: How long were you in there listening, Spike? Spike: Too long, your story needs editing.

    • Ed: Edward wants Chocooolaaaattteeee

    • Spike: Is it just me or did that not make any sense? Jet: Just like I said, women don't work on reason.
