At first, this episode is pretty silly, starting off with Spike and Jet trying to get the tape sold after opening the box. But then, after seeing a small part, Jet wants to see more. So, they explore for something to play it on. Hard exploring. In the end, this episode was kinda sad. Faye, due to being 'preserved', can't remember anything from what she was like when she was young. She didn't even know it was her, and in the end, she still doubted it a little.
It's a great episode, highly recommended. I hope there are more episodes like this, Cowboy Bebop is the best! :)moreless

See I don't cry much unless someone I knew died. But this, I broke into tears because I thought of when I grow up and won't remember something like that. I cryed like the whole night it was so sad. It was the only besides the last episode of Cowboy Bebop that brought tears to my eyes. Okay bye bye.

This is a really great episode, it’s also a little sad. The whole scene in the VCR store was hilarious and Jet and Spikes trip to Earth to get A VCR only to find out it’s the wrong kind. The sad part was when everyone was watching the tape, and Faye looks at it ,but can’t remember any part of it.

    • (Faye is on the phone with Ed.) Faye: Did any visitors show up looking for me? Ed: Visitors? Faye: I mean like scary guys who scream stuff like "Give me back my money!" or "You're under arrest!" Ed: Mmm, there was one. Faye: Huh? What did he say? Ed: Something like "pay me back, get even, tape, munch-munch, grind-grind, bye-bye! (giggles) Faye: Huh? Oh, right. Oh well. Edit
    • Faye: A collection from the Life Extension Agency? Or else...no, could it be...awww, there's just too many people who want a piece of me! Time for Faye's famous disappearing act. Edit
    • Faye (on the video tape): Good morning, me. Did you sleep well? Did you wake up feeling good? Did the light, and the wind, and the smell, and the sound, all seem like they're brand new and fresh this morning? Is each and every cell in your whole body awake and alive now? Today, you are who you are today. See? You're still me, but you're a newer version. (scene changes) Myself ten years from now. It's so far away; it's almost impossible to imagine. Am I alone or is there a wonderful person next to me? Knowing me I'm sure you're causing all kinds of trouble for lots of different people. I'm sorry, I don't mean to, but it's all right. That's part of life too isn't it? You're not perfect but you've got a lot to give, so remember: I'll always be cheering you on. Edit

A girl and a guy talk about getting settled in a place that's different from where grew up in Minnesota. 2. The two are brother and sister and are twins. 3. The guy resembles Jason Priestley in looks and hairstyle. 4. In the English dub, the girl says, "Goodnight, Brandon." Brandon is the twin brother in the series. 5. The closing credit reads: Exective Producer Jason Prestory Shanan D'Har (rest is blocked by the guy's head) Jason Priestley did receive an Executive Producer credit for part of the 90210 show run.
