I loved watching this show when it originally aired on ABC. This, and "Adventures of Brisco County, Jr." were the two shows I prayed would come out on DVD. Now they're both out!

This was a really underrated show, starring an underappreciated actor who is sadly no longer with us. Robert Pastorelli aced this role, and he is still fun to watch. I love the idea of a character who is a failure at everything, except one skill that may be more important than all the others.

"Cracker" led me to check out the British version, which I didn't prefer as much (probably because I saw the US version first, but I admit the UK series is pretty darn good.)

Just wondering if anybody else remembers or enjoyed watching this show? Thanks!

I still prefer the American version over the British...

I still have quite a few of the American episodes on tape. Probably about 7 or 8. Really good show.

My favorite has to be the "Madwoman In The Attic" episode.

"Madwoman" is a great episode...it really shows why Cracker wasn't your typical mystery/crime drama. I also really like "Hell Hath No Fury," and the two-part pilot.

I'm not sure I liked the direction the show was going in when it ended. It was nice to have a new lieutenant who wasn't as eager to use Fitz as Lt. Fry had been, but I wasn't sure about the (SPOILER ALERT)

Death of Tyler in "First Love." Though it would have been nice to have seen how that would have affected Fitz and his relationship with Judith.

Really, it's too bad this show didn't last a few seasons, or at least produce a full year's worth of episodes.
