Full Episode Summary

Bill Preece, a seventeen-year-old runaway, gets a job at a factory, and his manager, Stuart Grady, puts him up for the night. Grady's landlady assumes that the pair are having a relationship and threatens to evict Grady. Preece stabs her with a screwdriver in the ensuing argument, and Grady kills her to stop her calling the police. The police suspect the woman's husband, but Fitz is convinced of his innocence. Ian McVerry, a social worker, catches Preece lurking around the home of the family that had once planned to adopt him as a child.moreless
