    "Terrible"
The majority of this episode is devoted to Ben's visit to his "shaman" (Dean Stockwell), a retired auto mechanic living in the middle of a southwestern desert, who owes his inspiration to Ben, who rescued him from suicide on the death of his daughter. We are treated to Anthony acting worried, mystified and captivated while Ben writhes around in a hallucinogenic fog induced by some magic herb administered by the shaman.... BORING. Come on, this is just too much of a departure from the gritty reality this show is attempting to portray. This episode must have been conceived by amateurs scabbing during the writer's strike. It is clearly filler. There is virtually nothing interesting about it, unless you count Cesar's arrival in the U.S. where he crosses paths with the Ben and Anthony on their way back home after the session with the shaman. This, too, seemed contrived. Don't feel bad if you miss this one.moreless
