Crime & Punishment

Show Summary

"Crime & Punishment" has been described as a cross between a drama and a documentary or "drama-mentary". The series follows a real-life case from the San Diego County District Attorney's office from preparation through trial, presenting the case in a fashion similar to co-creator and executive producer Dick Wolf's "Law & Order" franchise

I love this show. It takes you in to the courtroom, a rarity in television. You follow the Prosecutors of California as the put on trial some of the most vicious criminals. The entire show is real, and none of it was reenacted. Not only do you go into the courtroom, but you follow the prosecutor as they meet with the witness and prep for the case. Sadly this show was canceled back in 2004 but thanks to the folks at MSNBC you can now watch it every week day at 10/9 central and Saturdays at 8/7 central and it is repeated at 11/10 central. I started watching it again and it really is as good as I remember it.moreless
