  • Dirty Desert Judge Receives Justice Courtesy of Torello.

"Desert Justice" returns Crime Story to what the show is about: Taking down corruption even if it involves a whole county's elected officials. This episode has some diversity, but it returns to Crime Story's central reason viewers love it. That would be Torello taking out the trash. This time even without Ray Luka as the target Crime Story delivers a great story of an isolated desert county that thrives on total controls of the brothels. There is nice desert cinematography, a solid story line, and the great William Hickey portraying a crusty scripture quoting judge. John Santucci even imbues his Paul Tagglia character with some redeeming human traits! Great small town corrupt local color oozes from most every frame in this nicely executed episode. A great return to form for Crime Story, recommended.moreless
