  • Not overly memoralbe, but certainly good enough to deserve a ten.

This was another interesting, and somewhat grotesque, case, which involved a decade worth of remains being foudn and discovered, and this prompt s the search for a serial killer!

The case itsefl was deecent, as it was filled with a lot of interesting detective-wrok, although I didn't really think the profiling was of a high standard today.

Furthermore, the case was bolstered by the personal connection of Derek Morgan and his Auntie, which made the case even more interesting than it already was, and overall, I must say that this was an impressive episode, and I can't wait for the next one! Keep it up, guys, and I can't wait to see what type of cliffhanger oyou will provide next week!moreless

    • Hotchner: What do we know about the first victim?
Reid: You know, that one's tough. He or she has been in the water so long, they're mostly bone fragments. I can attempt to reconstruct...
      Hotchner: You've got three hours.
Reid: I can do it in two.
      Hotchner: Make it one.

    • The idea of this episode came to Jim Clemente when he was on Myrtle Beach two years ago, and they were doing a beach reclamation project (restoring the beach after a very harsh winter). The workers pump sand through a big pipe from deep water and spray the sandy water onto the beach. The sand falls out of the mix and the water runs off into the sea, and that is how the beach is rebuilt. Sections are added to the pipe until the whole beach is built up to its original height. One of the workers jumped off a bulldozer and waded into the spray from the pipe and picked out a megoladon tooth (dinosaur shark tooth) from the sandy water. He said he gets good money for them so he is always watching out for them. At the time, Jim said to himself, "What if he found human bones instead?"
