    • Morgan: Guys, she wasn't blindfolded.
      Gideon: No.
Morgan: If she's seen his face, as soon as he gets that money...
      Gideon: ...he'll kill her.

    • Hotchner: (on the phone) So it sounds like bed rest isn't turning out to be very restful.
Haley Hotchner: Bed rest is more like bed agony. But in 10 minutes I get to switch to my right side. That'll be a thrill.

    • Cheryl Davenport: I don't know how you do it...this job. How do you stomach it?
Elle: The men I hunt down are cowards. For the most part, they target the weakest members of society: women and children. There is nothing I'd rather do more than put the bastards away.

    • Elle: You took a taser hit.
Morgan: Yeah, I know I did. So what?
Elle: So, no one expects you to finish the Davenport file tonight.
Morgan: Yeah, well, I guess it's still a little fresh in my mind. Nothing like fifty thousand volts in your back to keep your motor running, right?

    • Reid: There's no code of conduct that says agents can't socialize.
Morgan: Well, see, my code of survival says never mess with a woman that carries a gun.

    • Evan Davenport: Excuse me. Can you actually read that fast?
Reid: Our conscious minds can process 16 bits of information per second. Our unconscious, however, can process 11 million. (Evan stares at Reid) Yes, I... I can actually read this fast.

    • Reid: I don't know everything. I mean, despite the fact that you think I do.
Morgan: I never said that. When have I ever said that?
Reid: Every day since I met you.
      Elle: This morning at breakfast.
Hotchner: Yesterday when he beat you at cards. Umm... we've got one minute.

    • Gideon: Euripedes said, "When love is in excess, it brings a man no honor nor worthiness."
    • Gideon: Euripedes said, "When a good man is hurt, all who would be called good must suffer with him."

    • Reid mentions "the de Clerambault Syndrome" when speaking about erotomania. Although erotomania has come to mean an obsession with sex, it actually was first defined as a delusional obsession with someone of a higher social class. French psychiatrist Gaetan Gatian de Clerambault published a paper on it in 1921. John Hinckley, Jr. probably suffered from erotomania and believed Jodie Foster was in love with him.
