So looking forward to this episode. We will be seeing Will and of course little Henry (JJ and Will's son, we haven't seen them in a long while. Looking forward to more personal storylines.

I have a very low tolerance for graphic gore, and really don't need to see decapitated heads and body parts on my TV screen. Tell me - don't show me. I'm really good at visualization. I'm sure the make-up department had a lot of fun putting it all together for people who do enjoy seeing this kind of thing. I changed the channel after 20 minutes last night, but did record this episode so I could fast-forward through the "icky" parts this morning to see if there was anything that resembled an actual tornado. Finn's review reflects my opinion, so I'll just add "Toto, I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore."

I agree phf3947 with you on Finn's review. I have been struggling with what exactly to say about this episode. I think that was the most bizarre case, if you can call it that, that we've seen. The only parts of this episode that are really redeemable for me are the parts that made me laugh. And, strangely enough, there were a few. Reid and Rossi on the plane was funny. Although a lot of people would think it was gross, being an old nurse, I thought the ME eating his lunch in the morgue was hilarious especially next to Garcia's squeamishness. And the genius Reid, finally coming to the conclusion after seven years that he's rambling. Then the moment when he says of the unsub, "He's lost touch with reality." I'm killing myself laughing. "NO, really, you're kidding me. I never would have guessed." I guess I didn't mind the personal parts but the case was a real let down for me. I hope JJ and Will are not a rehash of Hotch and Haley although divorce, or in this case perhaps just breaking up, is common in these types of jobs. I thought Will, having been in law enforcemant himself, might have a different view than Haley did. It remains to be seen I guess. On the bright side, no Emily plays Dear Abby this week. I kept expecting her to spout advice to JJ at any moment.

I thought the episode was okay, actually. I've found the entire episode easy to go with (minus the ripped off limbs), and simply for that, it gets a good rating from me. I enjoyed how the weather literally created an atmosphere; I feel like the character interactions have finally clicked just right; and while I had to close my eyes or turn away from the screen numerous times, I didn't fast-forward because I was curious.

At this point, though, I find myself wondering, why is it that it seems we're less tolerant to knowing the unsub beforehand, and more critical of the profiling than we've been before? I know I am, for one. I'm merely curious; I only caught up with the show early in its fifth season so I don't know how the discussions have been for earlier seasons and episodes, but what do you think is it that makes most of Season Seven episodes worse than, say, some Season Four episodes like Normal, or Roadkill, or even character-centric ones likeDemonology?

I really liked this episode. Not the gross crime scenes so much, but then, beyond that, I liked the weather premise behind the unsub's delusion, and the team banter seems to feel more like how it was before season 6 happened. What was bothering me a little was JJ and the change in her, and I felt in this episode that she was almost back. Yes, it may echo Hotch and Haley, but then again, relationships in this job would come with that recurring theme. Got a little tearful at the end with her reading Henry his bed time story, that was lovely. And Reid and his 'rambling'- lol. I don't have a favourite in this season yet, but this one feels more like CM has started to level out and become at least, in similar form to what it was.

Thanks for the link. It sounds like good things are planned for the future. I can't wait!

This episode wasn't that bad! I'm not a fan of gore either but I do enjoy cheesy SyFy movies so maybe that's why I could tolerate it so well. I just keep wondering who could ever come up with these crazy crime scenerios. Bravo to the writers for being as insane as their subject in order to come up with these things! I think we have some criminal minds at work here!Laughing

It was okay kudos for coming up with a new brand of crazy and still not getting all the gore criticisms the show has been gory at times since season 1. I liked the tornado angle mixing Dahmer wanting to make the perfect person good case to follow.

Agree and as usual a great episode. Since I am fan of Bones there is very little that I find gross in other shows, well maybe in some of CSI episodes.
