I like that too. There's always surprises... the unsub does something the team doesn't expect, or they accuse the wrong person, or someone we thought was guilty is killed. Keeps me on my toes.

I saw Hide and Seek after I read the book by James Patterson. Same author who wrote 'Along Came a Spider' and a few others that were made into movies. Loved all of them.

Anyway, back to the subject. CM is such a well written show. It's thought out to every detail...good researchers. Garcia adds just that right touch of humor when you least expect it...love it. I also like CSI, but never could figure out why they all need to be shining that little flashlight at the crime scenes when it's bright daylight!

I haven't watched CSI enough to notice that! I like the mixture of humor and suspense in CM... makes my Wed. night so much more exciting.

When you said Wed. night I read it as 'wedding' and though OMG! Poor soul!

CSI bored me, maybe because I took forensic entomology classes and well, like I said before, I see all loops and holes now :/ I had psychology but not enough to see loops but enough to add a thought or two on  my own and analise them easily. Yes, Gideon, feel anazlized!!

Nope, long way from anything like that!!!!!

I liked the show, but it's not on the same par as CM. CM is like an intelligent CSI, and I love intelligent shows.

    An intelligent CSI...how...conflicting!

    Wedding night!

Chris--that line in your signature is from a song, right? Which one?

I'm not saying that CSI even begins to compare with CM....goodness no!  Exactly what I was saying...too many goof -ups in the show. Still like it anyway, although I don't care about watching any of the reruns...one time around is enough for that show. CM, on the other hand.....bring on the reruns! Can't get enough of it.

I know what you mean--I enjoy watching CSI or CSI:Miami...but CM is still way better!

I don't know enough about forensic science to catch the mistakes in CSI, but somehow I can sort of join the team in profiling. I sit there and say "I can do that!"

Kasey- yeah it's from a song called "Control" by Mute Math. It's like my new favorite song. It's on the Wow 2005 CD.

Let's all just get back on track.

I think the thing I love the most about the show (besides Hotch.lol) is how it keeps me guessing. I mean, anyone who knows me will tell you that tv shows do not stump me. I can accurately predict where the plot will go halfway through the show about 80% of the time. It's just the way I see things, I guess. Anyway--I rarely can do that with CM. I love it! I can just enjoy the episode without having to analyze it. Perfect!

CM honestly has to be just about the only show that can do this for me anymore. I hate the fact that I can't watch very many shows anymore without figuring out the plot line. Sure--once in a while a show will stump me, but CM is the only one that does it on a consistent basis.

I'm the same way. A lot of times when I watch shows I can anticipate the twists, and what's going to happen next, and all that stuff. But I can't do that with CM. There's too many twists, too many possibilities. I just soak it all up. And since I'm analytical like that anyway, it's perfect for my personality.

That's something I love about this forum...before coming on here, I thought I was the only person like that--but now I know I'm not weird...it's all the other people!
