None of my 'real life' friends have the same personality I do. I mean, a couple of them like a good mystery, but it's a lot different trying to talk to them about stuff like this. It's nice knowing that, like you said, I'm not totally weird.

Exactly! I guess Gideon said it right, didn't he? That was from "Derailed", right? I was just thinking, because it was talking about Reid, but I think it was Gideon who did the voice-over.

No, it was Reid. He did the voiceover for that part. I've watched it about 20 times in two weeks! And I love that quote!

That quote and now knowing about Reid's mother's schizophrenia makes me wonder: How often was Reid told by people at school and other places in Vegas that he was going end up in the nut house. I can just see the kids in school saying that. And when (and/or if) people found out about his mother, there were probably aome adults saying that also.

I wouldn't be surprised if while growing up, Reid thought that and maybe believed at some point.

Knowing how he said that his classmates were cruel to him, I bet he endured a lot of ribbing from the people at his school. Poor guy! To be that smart and already feel out of place, and then to have his mother in a psych ward, no wonder he kept it a secret from the BAU.

To whoever moderated that comment: what did I say that got it deleted? All I can remember is saying "I think you're right" to bassgirl06. Please, if you can tell me exactly what I said so I won't make that mistake again, that would really help me!

I think we are not supposed to just "agree" with someone. We are supposed to add something that we think as well.

are its quotes, citited from more intelligent people than the show producers. But considering what one can sell the audience these days, they didn't fail after all. The show is so flawed and dumb throughout, that one has to wonder if this is due to the ill education of the common people in the US, or more generic first world countries, or just the effect the recent crime shows had on its audience. This is not me believing to be any better, it is rather a critisim on a certain demographic group or humanity itself - just can't figure it out yet.

    Your post is flawed.
