Dahmer was a cannibalistic serial killer who was convicted in 1992 of the murder of 15 young men. When Milwaukee police searched his apartment they were horrified to find decomposing bodies and an altar made from human skulls. He was sentenced to 15 consecutive life sentences and was beaten to death in 1994 by a fellow inmate.
