From the beginning of this episode right up til the end you can see why is one of the most gripping shows on the air at the moment. They build just the right amount of suspense and then give you the info you want and keep you guessing (and if you're like me completely sussing it out). So we see it was Kate and Hotchner who were near the car, but not in it. Both have substained injuries but Kate's are more serious. There is so much more going on carrying on with a serious terrorist threat lurking but on what - no one yet knows...Their deductive reasoning as a team and their profiling techniques are awesome to watch and left me very much looking forward to next episode... Bring it!
I have been looking forward to this for some weeks and it did not disappoint.
I really enjoyed the episode and hope the rest of the series carries on the same. I was glad to see the team remain as I think the series would have lost something if the team had been broken up. It will be interesting to see the relationship between Morgan & Hotch now. Also if Morgan takes the new job (I really really hope he doesn't). The episode had me on the edge of my seat until the end and I loved the ending with Hotch & Morgan stood looking at the SUV. My congratulations go to the writers and long may it continue.
Roll on episode 2!!!! Seriously I can not wait!!!!
The BAU are in NY looking for a group of terroist who plan to bomb civilans and the rescue teams who come to help. However, the team realizes they got the profile all wrong. Is it too late to correct?
I absolutely love Criminal Minds. I actually just got hooked on it this summer. I have watched every episode just to catch up before this season started. Last nights episode was awesome. However I really am soooo over Derreck Morgan and his heroism... or is it really just that he is scared? I really find it to be kind of old how every season he does the same thing and puts his life on the line. I understand that it's his character but Im just saying it gets kind of old. I love Reid he is my favorite character. I can not wait to see how this season will unfold.
I've loved criminal minds since the beginning and it seems to get better and better every season. The characters a complex themselves which I think adds a lot to the show. I am really looking forward to the season opener. The cases always seem to get sicker which is a good thing, unless they are so sickening that I can't sleep. Which has happened once or twice. To look into the mind of the killer is very interesting. This show always keeps me interested from start to finish. I look forward to it every Wednesday night. Can't wait until tonight.
I have been watch Criminal Minds since it began and find myself more and more drawn into it every episode.
After the ending episode of last season, I am anxious for the new season to start so we can see which BAU members where in the SUV that exploded.
From what I have read about thje next episode it seems that the members in the SUV are in the hospital to recover at the start which is wierd since the explosion shown at the end of "Lo-fi" would not of left any survivors in the SUV. I hope it is just incorrect info leaked and being posted and they actually keep the show as realistic as possible or I will probably lose interest.
This really is one show i cannot live without ever!!!! I am eagerly awaiting season 4 hoping and praying no one got hurt in the explosion! I must say my favourite characters in this show are morgan and garcia. the relationship between those two is amazing i wish i had something like that. i love this show more and more every season i just wish that gideon didnt leave it was so sad and i really felt sorry for reid he looked so lost without him. i dont think the show is the same without him but its still good i still enjoy every episode i watch. Big drama at the end of the last season is so intense tho im not sure how much longer i can wait!!
In this crime series, a crack team of FBI profilers flies from Quantico to the focal point of the criminal activity of various serial killers, to investigate the evidence on the crime scenes, compose a profile and try to prevent the next fatal strike.
Criminal minds has really proved how popular it really is during the awsome season 3. We were always on the edge of our seats during the whole of the season. My personal farouvite episode was Penelope, where our favouite Analyst Penelope Garcia gets shot. The producers have had to deal with the lose of Mandy Patinkin as SSA Jason Gideon and find a replacement which ended up being Joe Mantegna as Senior SSA David Rossi who developed a whole new story line. The final episode for the season Lo-Fi created the best and most exiting cliffhanger possible with one of the teams SUV blows up. Who is it? will will just have to wait and see. Congragulation for an exellent Season 3.
Right from the start of the televised run of Criminal Minds we were exposed to some of darkest and most vile aspects of humanity. We met rapists, paedophiles, serial-killers, kidnappers and all other sorts of criminal. On the otherside of the law barrier we met the team of BAU (Behavioual Analysis Unit) agents who have been assigned to profile these criminal minds. Its certainly a fascinating look into what makes a criminal a criminal, obviously there is much dramatic license taken but its also obvious that much research has been done, especially in trends of past criminals.
Another interesting aspect to the show is the look at how the various agents of BAU cope and deal with the work in their own personal and professional lives, and the tolls that such work has on ones soul.
With just these aspects a televison show would be good, but what makes Criminal Minds surpass 'good' is that its well written and just darn entertaining. Theres nothing more rewarding then seeing someone get there due. And because Criminal Minds goes places where many other shows wont it makes the pay-off so much more worthwhile. And living through all the twists and turns and the gathering evidences and the overall profile you cant help but feel part of the investigation and when it copmes to capturing the bad guy you cant help but cheer for the folks at the BAU.
What makes this show stand out even more so than the 'other' crime shows out there (and there are many) is that it has what no other show has, something unique, which is the emphasis on Behavioural Analysis. Its just a thrill to hear the profile take shape, but its also just fascinating to take a greater understanding of the human mind.
And one more thing, the cast is great, they all have such a good chemsitry with one another, and everyone really fits into there own niche so that it feels like there isn't any unnecessary characters floating about.
So, if you havent tried this show out yet, I highly recommend giving it a chance. Be warned however, the show does delve into some very dark places and portray some extemely sick crimes. In saying that however, you wont see anything that you havent seen already on the news or in the movies (Not as bad as the recent trend of gorno hitting cinemas).
this great show great that i gave it a 10 for a score, love the show and the cast of the show were great for this show. can't wait to see more of it..
when i first the show i got hook on it that i had see all the season...
i notice that there's no upcoming episode. why is that?
well i hope to see new episode becasue i like this a alot...
you can say that this is one of my fave show that i like to watch and i have alot fave show that like to watch.. i like all the season all of them were gtrat. will there be new season criminal minds i was just woundering?
I started watching Criminal Minds towards the end of season 3. Once I watched a few episodes I was hooked and watched the entire series online. There arent any other shows like it. It has many plot twists and usually keeps you guessing until someone gets an epiphany of somesorts and finds the "unsub". Even though I really liked the original cast and I miss Elle and Gideon, I still like the show and will continue to watch.
Every episode features two quotes having something to do with something that happens in the episode. Every episode is different and every unsub has a different profile.
If you like watching dramas and/or crime shows I strongly recommend Criminal Minds.
I saw the promos for Criminal Minds and decided to watch the series premiere. I saw Mandy Patinkin in an edge of your seat murder investigation and was absolutely hooked. I had wanted to see E-Ring with Benjamin Bratt but could not tear myself away from Criminal Minds. By the time the reruns were on, E-Ring was gone.
Season One, like all shows, focused on the BAU, Behavioral Analysis Unit of the FBI. This elite team flies around the country on a private jet to assist local police profile criminals. It was completely enthralling.
The subsequent seasons began to flesh out the characters. Two of the stars left within the first three seasons, yet the show has lost none of its punch. I hope there are many more seasons to come.
I discovered Criminal Minds a couple of years ago but after just 2 chapters I run to the store to buy the completel first season in DVD. It's a crime show seen from the point of view of the profilers. They catch the bad guys just by interpreting their behaviour. It makes you think and try to speculate about who the unsub is and why he/she is doing all this. The characters are all very different but they manage to work together as a balanced team. This is one of the things I love more about the program, that the team really gets well with each other. That and that although the cruent and creepy job they have they can be funny too. Great show! I can't wait to watch more about it!
I recently just discovered this show, and I think its really good. Its strange - trying to think through the mind of a criminal but it makes you really intriqued to see what happens.
I do like the character dynamic - I love Gideon - his thoughts on it all and how cares for Reid etc.
Reid - well what to say about him, the lil boy genius is my favorite - I love his little tangents when explaining about something and everyone just seems to look at him as if to say huh?
I hope this show continues and while some episodes I find can be hit or miss on the whole its a throughly enjoyable show. :)
This show was great, always a twist and never predictable in the first two seasons it always had you on the edge of your seat. While there was enough caracter development to keep you interested in them personally and their interactions with each other, as they raced to profile and catch the 'unsub' in each episode.
Unfortunately in the third season the show has sunk into greater character development at the expence of the story. Nearly every episode has been pedicatable and lacking that twist. The effect of the extra caracter development has left me less interested in them rather then more, no longer an I on the edge of my seat, in fact the season three finalie could kill them all off for what I care so long as season four can return some of that excitement from the first two seasons
I can see why shows like this are a dime a dozen at the minute, thats because the audience are crying out for shows that are different, or, shows that have evolved someway since 60's and 70's detective shows. Each week the FBI profilers analyze the country's most twisted criminal minds and anticipate their next moves before they strike again. they use different techniques and methods to get inside the head of the killers, each reoccuring character is different, and handles cases in different ways. Penelope is the quirky helper that cements these bricks (the profilers) together. if you like CSI watch one episode of this- you might just be suprised how good it is.
This show has great plots, great characters and great actors which is rare in TV shows. I think this is a pretty unique crime show in its approach to solving the crime and its my favourite of any show involving the FBI at the moment.
I thought that losing Mandy Patinkin might have been the death of the show but I don't think it was, season 3 was the best season so far with a great finale (better than most other shows this season) where it wasn't obvious what was going to happen or what will happen next season. One thing about this show is it reminds me a little bit of NCIS – obviously they're different but the character set up seems quite similar.
This is one of my favorite shows. I didn't watch the first season but came in at the middle or end of the second season and watched all of the third. I didn't know about watching it at first because Shemar Moore was in it, although I love Shemar his shows before weren't really good or successful so I didn't want to watch it and find out that is was bad. But I tuned in and actually liked it. I love all the characters and how different from each other they are. Hotchner's the strong take the lead boss who knows what he wants. Rossi's the laid back well respected vet who can teach you anything. Reid is the genius who can just output information like a computer. J.J. is the sensitive, well rounded organized little fighter. Prentiss is the strong, tough, "been through worse things", "will get our man", female. Morgan is the strong muscled yet intelligent valiant prince that saves the day. And Garcia is the wild computer genius in love with Morgan, who has no problem being who she is. The cast works well together and nothing is awkward or unbelievable even the whole Garcia and Morgan thing grows on you and you begin to love it. All of the characters together make the show what it is, one of the best on TV. Kudos to the Actors that make this show so great.
I started watching this series midway first season & I have been hooked every since. This team of profilers are what make this series what it is. Each has their own story, their own reason for choosing this as their profession, & each has made personal scarifices in order to help others. The cases they work on are always interesting if somewhat gruesome at times, but they almost always manage to catch the bad guys or bad guy in the end. I have never once been bored by an episode yet & each season I eagerly wait to see whats in store. This is one of my top favorite shows to watch & I shall remain a big fan, season after season.
Some people wouldn't call this a very original show, mostly due to the fact that the CSI and Law & Order franchises were started before it, but Criminal Minds puts a new spin on the whole "Clue" aspect of catching their criminals.
Criminal Minds isn't just a CSI or Law & Order wannabe. While the show does incorporate the lives of the profilers into the story lines, it goes after the bad guys from a new angle then we are used to: they profile the bad guy, rather than following the evidence. They observe behavior, and make educated guesses, putting a profile together for the local police. Also, they operated out of a base in Quantico, Virginia, and are therefore called to various locations around the states in order to solve cases that could not be solved by local law enforcement. More recently, we've learned a lot more about our profilers personal lives, and the cases have gotten a lot more intense, sometimes striking a heart cord with one or more of our profilers. Personally, I've been watching the show since it's premiere, and have yet to be disappointed. I fell in love with the character of Spencer Reid and am always glad to see him get more on-screen time, (and good story lines). If you're sick of all the Law & Orders, or are bored with the similar stories in the three CSI's you should try watching Criminal Minds at least once. The show is pretty well written, and often has snappy, well delivered dialog. Often keeps you guessing right until the end of the episode, and in cases like the season three finale, you're on the edge of your seat until the credits.
I love every single member of Criminal Minds Team I had a little difficulty warming up to Rossi after Gideon left, the episodes that showed some insight into his character were great and helped make him seem more human.
I love every single episode of this show, the actors are exceptional, the writers are the best! I really love everything involved with this show! All I want to know is when I can buy the third season, I already have seasons one and two. I really love Spencer Reid and Penelope Garciam Morgan and Hotch and would like to see Prentis get a little more personality. I liked the way they make JJ a little more caring in the last episode too. You guys all rock! My daughter and I are die hard fans! Thanx!

I hope to meet and become friends with him and the whole cast my dream is to become and actress. I also wish to star on one episode I love criminology and physcology. I LOVE tv. and acting more. I hope my dreams come true. Dannie Ray McMichael
An exciting show about the BAU is a special fbi team dedicated to find serial killers and other criminals. The difference compared to other murder series is the way they analyse the criminal mind of their target. It is amazing to see how they catch them.
An exciting show about the BAU. It is a special fbi team dedicated to find serial killers and other criminals. The difference compared to other murder series is the way they analyse the criminal mind of their target. It is amazing to see how they catch them. From searching his/her room or hide out they can get so many info. Also the cast is great with there own backstories and history. It is one of the most original crime series out there. That's why it deserves a 9 if i'm concerned. Onely watch out that it doesn't become to repetitive to watch.
Yes, I record the show every week. Yes, I love the fact that Xander from Buffy is on it and yes, I think the acting is much to be desired. With the exception of Penelope and Spencer, most of the characters can't act. Their facial expressions are not believable and do not at all convey what the scene is actually about. I have just finished watching the newest episode off my DVR and it suddenly hit me. Wow, no one can act. I love shows with poor acting just like the rest of us but this show makes it blatantly obvious. Better casting job PLEASE. The show could be great with the right actors. The characters themselves are not bad it is just who is playing them that I have a problem with. Other than that... love the show!
I love this show, and I love all the characters. Reed is hilarious with his geeky way of being and his lack of social skills. Morgan is just cool and sexy. Hotch is the serious one, the leader of the team. Garcia is the corky and interesting one who never really cares what people think of her. AJ is the beautiful and sophisticated one who really sympathises with the victims, while Prentice is the "put together"-one. All of these characters make up the team that we know as the BAU, and they do a hell of a job. Worth watching for sure.
A television drama following the events of a criminal behaviour analysis team. Each week there is a different crime which the team must work against the clock to solve and rescue an innocent victim.
I am really interested in this drama because it is very chilling and dark but yet so touching and really thought provoking. In my opinion it is one of the best shows dealing with criminal events apart from CSI of course which I adore.
Criminal Minds is not just based around crime events and criminal acts it also involves the personal lives of the characters and shows us a sensitive side to each. It's not a hard programme to understand and even though it's in it's third series you can easily catch up with the events as the series has a different main theme in each episode.I love the way the writers create such diverse personalities and yet they all get along so well and work great together. The plots are always so interesting and thrilling it's hard not to find yourself hooked on this programme.
Unlike most show on CBS ,with the exception of The Unit & Shark, Criminal Minds breaks away from the regular cop show format with a far more powerful group of character and interesting stories. Because I hate CSI I thought I would hate Criminal Minds but after tuning in for one episode I was incredibly surprised.
The show follows an elite group of F.B.I. agents called the B.A.U. (Behavioral Analysis Unit). The group goes around to help local cops who are unable to find criminals in their town. Unlike CSI which is practically Sci-Fi and really crappy Criminal Minds is fairly realistic and they solve the crimes with good old fashion police work not DNA and paint samples.
The show follows a team of behavioralists that belong to the BAU unit of the FBI. The show itself is enthralling to watch, and the interaction of the team fantastic. It is based on real cases from the FBI files.
Each episode is very effective on a mental and emotional level. The team has a great chemistry and interaction, and they are always fun to watch evolve together. some of the episodes are more graphical and sometimes a little gory, but also always very interesting. The characters are are very lovable. You will get attached very quickly to all or some of them. Each member of the BAU team bring is contribution in solving the cases.
The show also keeps the viewer on the edge waiting for the final outcome, as the case progresses and more and more details come to light.
Overall, this is one of the best shows on television.
Criminal Minds is personally my favorite show. I think it is the best show on the face of the earth. I am absolutly CRAZY for Dr. Spencer Reid. He is a cute, nerdy genius like me. No im not as smart as him but I do believe I am pretty good with figuring technical things out. Anyway I have the second season on DVD and I watch it every night before i go to bed. If your looking for a new, exciting crime show, this show will most surely satisfy you.
P.S. Reid is cute, sweet, nerdy, and well he is just everything that a guy should be. plus he shows how tough he is in my personal favorite episode Revelations.
Frightening since it is based on real cases from the FBI. Scary really that there are so many sicko, wacko's out there.Makes you want to stayed locked in your house with your family.
I could do this in a one word review. But since you have a minimum word count, here goes. It is the best show on television. Better than CSI, better than Law and Order, better than the real cases they portray. It is so real that one night when I was watching an episode, it seemed so real to me, so realistic(it was about a teen aged girl being kidnapped and murdered) that I had to change the channel(of course I was taping it).But my heart started racing and it just was horrible.I am sorry Mandy Pitinkin left, but the cast is certainly strong enough to carry on without him. This is the best show to date, best crime drama that is.

Each episode proves to be effective on a mental and emotional level. The team of the BAU has a great chemistry and interaction. While some of the episodes may be a little gory, they are always interesting and keep the watchers enthralled.
Each character has its own strengths and weaknesses. The show's ability to exemplify both is wonderful. The characters are not denigrated for the weaknesses; rather, the strengths are brought to the forefront so each member of the BAU contributes ideas to the case in general.
The show also keeps the viewer latched onto the screen, as the case progresses and more and more details come to light.
Overall, this is one of the best shows on television.
