  • Another nut case killer - truckie one this time.

So I guess my general gripe is that the total focus is on murderers. There are OTHER bad crimes out there besides this.
The focus is so strong on the murders that there is no time to check in on our favorite team members. For instance Reid got shot episode one, right? Since then nothing! We don't hear why he's spending MOST of the season with a walking stick - it seems to be a reason to keep him in the office - even when he's not using a walking stick anymore. Is he crippled? Is he not fit? Do we find out what's going on? NO! Couldn't they focus back on a team member or two again? Maybe one of them could get a little stressed out with the type of work they do! I mean even a teensy bit would be normal right?
Do the team get together for friendly chats anymore? BBQ's, Birthdays? Sigh
I guess the weekly murder and gore is more important This show is losing my interest fastmoreless

  • When a truckie wants a mother for his adored little girl, he will stop at nothing - literally - to find the right woman.

A man is seen creeping into a room with a young girl asleep in her bed. Turns out he is her dad and he is a long distance truck driver who must find a 'wife and mother' as soon as possible before the child welfare authorities take his daughter away from him.

Unfortunately, when he abducts various women and they don't live up to his standards, he kills them and goes in search of another one. Finally, he finds the RIGHT one and takes her to meet his daughter. (Good to see Gabrielle Carteris from 'Beverly Hills 90210' again.) Of course, the BAU and other law enforcement officers are waiting on him. When he sees this, he blows his brains out in the cabin of his truck. Pity about the fact that we didn't see any blood anywhere ...

I felt a fair bit of sympathy for the man who was obviously tipped over the edge at the thought of losing his child but the episode itself was not overly interesting. Seems like Season 5, for the most part has been sitting in a 'writer's rut' and that is a great shame. I hope it improves soon.moreless

  • Felt a little sorry for the bad guy, but he was crazy and evil. Great storyline, and a really lovely episode!

This episode starte d out like any other, with the serial killer making a kill and the team beginning to investiagate the case. The storyline to this one was great, as it was really unique and well thought out. I liked the idea of the guy looking for a wife, and it worked well as an episode.

I thought there was a lso a nice funny moment, when Reid had to get into the mud bog or swamp. That was a nice addition too. The episode was quite creepy, with the women being locked up in the cages, but fortunately, we got a good ending for two people.

I really enjoyed this storyline, and I think it was flawlless. Such a great episode, not the best, but pretty close! I really enjoyed it, and II can't wait for more great episodes, just like this one! Keep it up, guys!moreless

It was... I am not even sure how to say it. It was moving, for sure, and the ending was visually very speaking.. that slow motion to make things more tragical and emphasize the drama even more.

Also, there were for sure enough emotion and somehow Prentise's involvement in the story.. it was very good to watch. I totally adored that little girl. The enthusiasm.. the way she talked.. specially the scene in her bedroom when Prentise and JJ start to realized by those stories what has been going on.

I mean.. it has emotion, tragic story but in the end.. I do not know.. I felt it missed something...moreless

Wow I thought this episode was very good. This has probably been one of my favorite episodes of season 5 so far.The way the storyline was written was definatly a risk but they defiantly pulled it off. This episode is about a fathers search for a wife for his young daughter. After his wife died when his house burned down his daughteer Jodie was taken by social services.I really enjoyed Prentisses involvment in this episode she bonded with the daughter when her mom was kidnapped and also bonded with Jodie and she pulled her close before her father killed herself. The last scene between Morgan and Prentiss I felt was the best in this episode he knew something was up and they had a small but nice conversation at the end.I recomend watching this episode because it has a great storyline and good character development :Dmoreless

    • Although Jodi would have been put in foster care after her father was deemed unfit, there is no legal way that she could be adopted. In order for a child to be adopted, the parent must willingly sign away their parental rights, which obviously was not done. A child with a parent deemed unfit is only put in foster care because the parent can once again be deemed fit at any time. Edit
