  • What's wrong with a mature relationship?

    4.5
Why on earth did you kill off Strauss? Jayne Atkinson is a wonderful actress- just loved her in "24" - she added a bit of je ne sais quoi to this show. The relationship between her and Rossi was not overt, was really only suggested and therefore rather intriguing. Either give Rossi another relationship or better yet, let poor Dr Reid find happiness. There's little enough in this show.
  • No cliffhanger?

    8.0
Of course there was a cliffhanger! They are just going more subtle, and it's more on the human side - the interacting between characters, than the crime related side.

They obviously needed to tie the threads related to the Replicator - which really hasn't been the best story line in the history of CM, but I acknowledge the smartness of using it as a way to Write out a character that really didn't add much to the show. As there is a New season coming up, we will need a new threat to the group, someone who is clearer and sharper defined as such.

To me this was a so-so episode.

And the cliffhanger? Helloooo! Strauss' funeral: Garcia and Morgan hand in hand. That's stepping it up a bit from their not-really-appropriate-workmate-dialogues. I think they try to write in a relationship there (I think they have tried that the past 2 Seasons) and that we'll see that in blossom in the endgame, whether that will be in season 9 or 10 remains guesswork. As much as I love CM, I don't see them running for more than max 3 more seasons...moreless
  • Cliffhangers

    10
I don't like cliffhangers. I presume that if there is none then that poses the question, Will the series finish or not. Are the producers undecided. I love Reid and Garcia. Great episode as usual
  • I really do love this series

    10
    So entertaining :D
  • May the Dark Side of the Force be With You

    9.0
After watching this episode last night, I have a few things that need to be said about this season's finale. I liked how they killed off a character which I always hated (yes, I never liked or sympathized with Strauss), but I was a little bothered that they did not kill Alex Brake (I mean, Jeanne Triplehorn is a great actress, but her character isn't really that interesting).

Still, I liked the actor they chose to play the Replicator... I mean, Mark Hamill may be famous for portraying Luke Skywalker, but he's even more famous for providing the voice of the greatest villain in a comic book, the Joker. We already had Tim Curry portraying the Prince of Darkness, so Mark was a really great choice, especially because when he talked you could hear that he was talking with his real voice, but with a slight touch of madness, similar to the voice he uses for voicing the Joker.

I'm not entirely sure if we've seen the last of the Replicator, because he did not see the body being pulled out or anything. And let's face it, he was pratically two steps ahead of everyone else. Who's to say that he did not fake his own death, just to come back later?

It was a great episode, but it could've been better. I give this one a 9.moreless
