The flash fire wall for the title stunt was intense enough to singe the eyebrows off of a few spectators near the stage, and gave both Criss and his assistant first-degree burns. This is the second time that Criss came close to losing consciousness during a stunt, in this case from the heat and impact of the fire wall.
This is also the first that someone other than himself on his team was sent to the hospital as a result of the stunt. Although this time it was as a precautionary measure to ensure that the assistant hadn't suffered anything more than the burns.
Criss Angel sings his own theme song on this show
In scene where he is about to split the woman in half with his hands, there's two things wrong with it, first there's a hollow sound when he taps the mid-section, secondly when the body is in two parts the womans top half runs off scared and the lower half stands up and taps her foot.
If Criss was sawn in half there should of been a few things gone with it, the spinal cord sticking out and massive amounts of blood spilling out of his top and lower half of his body.
Look closely: Why did the table start sparking before the saw touched it.
Criss ascends from an underground manhole covering. As Criss replaces the covering back into position, he walks away from the covering, distracting the viewer and the camera moves. Scrape marks from the manhole covering are clearly visible as Criss replaces the covering. When Criss returns to do the trick of rolling up the manhole cover, much like rolling up a piece of paper, most of the scrape marks are missing and the ground is unfouled. A few scrape marks are still visible, indicating that the original manhole is in front of "new" manhole, and just below the camera's field of view.
D.D. Hume's name is spelled as D.D. Home when shown on-screen the first time.

In episode Building Walk, Criss prepared for the titular stunt by climbing to the roof of the hotel and leaning over the side at angles that would've normally caused him to fall to his death. Because of this, a passer-by who spotted him called the police, reporting Criss as a suicide jumper. Thanks to this incident, it was at first uncertain if the police would allow the stunt to continue as scheduled, putting it in jeopardy.
Criss had to make his escape earlier then planned because he was not feeling well.
In episode Tesla Strike, Criss is taken to the hospital in an ambulance after he is knocked unconscious by the lightning from the Tesla Coil. Reportedly, beyond the unconsciousness, doctors feared that Criss had suffered permanent nerve damage to his foot. Luckily, Criss made a full recovery. To date, this is the only stunt in which Criss was injured severely enough to be hospitalized.
Criss did get to take the car home, a 2005 Dodge Viper.
Criss was pulled over by the police in a road test with the Viper.
This is the first episode where Criss unsuccessfully performs an attempted feat. In this case, it occurred in the Dodge dealership, where he incorrectly guessed that a participant was thinking of a ring. Instead, she was envisioning the black watch.
Oher magicians have died trying to preform this stunt.
Even Houdini backed out of being buried alive for fear of not being able to complete it.
