i really liked this ep..its funny b/c i was watching this w/ my step mom the other day and shes like this is so much like bones..and im like well it was on before bones lol..but each has its own little differences..like i can see the tough girls both in jordan and brennan but jordan goes out and does what she needs to and is more social in some ways..i love this ep..it was so cool..i love their advances and how like it was kind of close to home since i go to college right now..its kind of scary..but i liked it..both cases were awesome and had me at the edge of the seatmoreless
  • could be better but was not that bad

After last episode this was kind of bad...

Det. Santana makes an appearance and teams up with Jordan to solve a case. Losing a brother...I can't imagine what I would do if that happened to me.

This episode has good points, Santana and Jordan are a good team, and looks like Woody has been talking about Jordan to Santana...

The other case involves a young rich girl found dead. She was making a movie about rich kids, how was life for them and what would they do if they hadn't any money. Because of that she got killed...

Every families have problems and every families have secrets, things they don't talk about... I guess for that girl, is was motive enough to kill a friend.moreless
  • A rather forgetfull episode... Every season has a few of those...this was one of those filler episodes. For more reviews: www.crossingjordanencyclopedia.com

Jordan and Cruise: It was nice to see Cruise back in on a case. I wondered what happened to her. We see so many different detectives I didn’t know if they’d bring her back or not. She’s got that same attitude. Here it’s a little more offensive, especially since she’s dealing with Lily and not Woody. Lily’s just appalled at Cruises wish for a good murder: i.e. a shooting or stabbing. Lily definitely didn’t take any liking to Cruise. One of the few times I’ve seen her actually express a dislike in someone.

Jordan’s good in this episode. She expresses concern over the brother. She’s outrage at the pharmaceutical company and they thought of them using trial drugs on a human. (She earns Cruises respect when she blows up at the company’s representative). Jordan was very true to her character.

Bug and Sydney: They still have their differences, but they’re starting to work a little better together. I actually like the tension between the two. They’re always trying to one up each other and it adds a little more fun to the crypt at times. They’re not overboard with it. It’s just a natural rivalry which makes it believable and entertaining.

Garret, Nigel and Woody: A high profile case. Three different personalities with different reactions to the case. Garret’s in a fit with Mora (the specialist the family brought into to supervise the autopsy). She makes a comment to the press that at the moment it looks like a tragic accident. This is right after Garret says the blow to the head looks like it was intentional. Garret snubs her throughout the episode. Mora though relents and opens up to Garret’s method of processing the evidence. And the two come to a mutual respect by the end.

Nigel’s impressed with Mora and compliments her throughout the episode. He works well with her—he too shares Garret’s view that the death wasn’t an accident, but he isn’t judgmental of her.

Woody looks at the facts tracks down the evidence and follows the clues. He stays out of Mora’s way. I like Garret and Woody working together. It’s a much more methodical and controlled atmosphere than when Jordan is involved. I like the pace the two of them have when working together.moreless
