You can tell they had to reshoot the ending. This ending was just wrapped up in a nice neat bow. You can tell it was supposed to be a cliffhanger. The show lost steam after they figured out why her mother died.

It seems that companies are hellbent on killing good and decent shows and leaving crap that no-one watches. Why don't they instead kill off the "new and improved" Las Vegas with Selek?

I do not understand NBC at all. They never seem to listen to the fans. They ditched Passions, which I will never be able to watch again because it's going to Direct TV. And worst of all, they get rid of Jordan. This is the most interesting, exciting, fun, show with great characters that play well together. I love Jordan and Woody, and Bug and Lily, and the fantastic family atmosphere the morgue has. It makes me so mad!

I wish there was a way we could save this fantastic program.

If it weren't for Jay Leno, I wouldn't be watching the worst network on TV today.

Once Jay is gone, that's it for me. NBC has no concept of what great television is.

I totally disagree the show lost momentum when Jordan found out how her mother died. From beginning to end, this show has stayed its course, powerful and fanastic.

It's been pretty weak for the past couple of seasons but last year's finale was really great & I thought we'd be back to some of the writing we saw in the early years but alas, we didn't. NBC sure didn't help things by moving it around & constantly pre-empting it, I was disappointed to see it end but not surprised.

I very much agree, it's always been brilliant to me, it never lost any momentum.

NBC has been doing weird stuff lately -- on top of all mentioned add the Las Vegas -- with James Caan leaving as well as Nikki Cox, that show is also losing viewers. I think they had taken up ABC's strategy of killing good stuff.

Its a great season finale but a horrible series finale.... In a previous topic a while ago, there was an article from one of the produceres talking about how they left room for it to come back, and set aside funds for the show to return.... but is it likely to happen? No.

I guess they needed the time slot for "Bionic Woman" this fall.

Well whatever the reason it's nice to see some of you guys can admit the show had definitely fallen off it's once high note. I myself like a weekly engaging with my shows not a sit around the campfire and watch Jordan kind of vibe. Jordan had become nothing common-place to me and on that note it's good that it's gone before it could come unbearable.
