  • Is she guilty?

    9.2
To tell the truth I was really lost during this episode, especially at the beginning. I think the maiin reason is because all the episodes were aired out of order & I'd forgotten what happened at the end of season 2 & it really got confusing. But I managed to work things out towards the end.

Still I think this episode was a good one & it was really interesting. Jordan wanted for murder, her father & Woody thinking that she did it & were both trying to protect her & Jordan thinking that her father is guilty, it was pretty cool.

The best part is when the only person Jordan could trust - Woody - betrayed her & turned her in. I loved that look of disbelief on her face.

Her brother dead? I dont think so, I'm sure he'll show up later next season.moreless
  • It's a shame that NBC didn't air this as the season opener.

    9.1
I think the writer should be credited with skillfully repeating enough details from the episode "Oh Brother Where Art Thou II" to allow the viewer to follow the plotline of this episode. Even though the two episodes aired over a year apart, it was possible to follow the events as they unfolded. When released on DVD, these two episodes should be placed in proper sequence.

In this show, we learn who actually killed Det. Tom Malden. And even though Jordan's half-brother James might seem to have been written out, I won't be surprised to see him in a later episode.

Probably not everyone would agree, but I like the way that details of the murder of Jordan's mother are only revealed a little at a time. NBC owes the loyal fans of "Crossing Jordan" that this one recurring story line is wrapped up before this series ends.moreless
  • All the story, this should had been the first of the season, not the last

    9.7
This should be the season's first episode not the last.

Here we find out everything or at least the most part of it.

Jordan weaks up in an alley next to her apartment and there are a lot of cops in the area. Macy sees her and asks her where she was been, she doesn't know. He tells her about he murderer and that her father, Max, is the prime suspect and that he is missing. She faints.

Next thing you know, Rene brings an ME from outside the office and lets everyone know that Jordan is a witness and that no one is allowed to talk to her about the case, if they do they get fired.

Det. Amy Capra enters the scene for the first time. She "interrogates" Woody.

We find out something about the call Max got. Someone told him that Jordan killed Malden and he ran and figured a way to protect her, he shot Malden twice.

Woody traces the call and he and Jordan go to James apartment, Amy is there. They call a police car to take Jordan home.

James is also missing and he is following Jordan. He even manage to steel a police car and pick her up. Then he takes her to his old house, is it under construction.

There he talks about his past and then Woody and Amy appear.

James apologies for not being a go brother to Jordan and jumps from the window. His body is not found, he may still be alive.

And now we find out why Jordan and Max are not speaking. He said no more questions and she stops asking anything.moreless

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • Goof: Woody reads Jordan her miranda rights, this implies that she is under arrest, though never stated. At this point, no reason was presented to arrest her, and if she is just wanted for questioning, that would not require reading miranda at least until she was being interogated, if even then.

  • QUOTES (11)

    • Garret: Sure just walk away Renee
Renee: Is there something else you wanted to tell me?
Garret: No, just always wanted to say that!

    • James: I'm sorry I wasn't a better brother.

    • Jordan: One call.
      Woody: No.
      Jordan: Yea but.
      Woody: No.
      Jordan: Please.
      Woody: No.
      Jordan: One time.
Woody: Give me this phone. (snatches phone)

    • Nigel: There you have it they match, now you know… whatever it is you wanted to know?

    • Jordan: He was protecting someone?!?
      Woody: Yes…you.

    • Jordan: I'm on my way to see the only person I can count on right now to help me.
Garret: Ok.. I'll try not to take that personally.

    • Jordan: I need your help.
Woody: Sure, but first there is something I've got to say.
      Jordan: Ok.
Woody: You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law, you have the right to an attorney present at….
      (fades out)

    • Jordan: If the body shows evidence that he (her father) is innocent then I need to see it.
Garret: Fine, what if it doesn't?
Jordan : Then I need to see that too.

    • Renee: I am recommending that you be removed from the case.
Woody: Last time I checked you don't have a badge, therefore you don't have the authority.
      Renee: Try me!

    • Det. Capra: I was curious.
Rene Walcott: You know what curiosity did. Don't ya?
      Det. Capra: Meow.

    • Garret: This is a family. All of us a family. And every family needs trust. Now if you have a problem with Jordan you come to me not the DA.
Peter: Okay if we're supposed to be family then how come she lied to me?
Garret: She obviously doesn't see you as a member of the family yet. Wonder why that is Dr. Winslow.

  • ALLUSIONS (1)

    • Garret: Fine! Just walk away Renee!
This is kind of funny because there is a song called Walk Away Renee by a band named Left Banke.
