  • Main: The city is overtaken by a blizzard the likes of which have not been seen for years. Everyone is scrambling to stay warm and stay alive as a mysterious affliction has ended one life, and threatens the entire morgue personnel.

This is the type of episode that I would love to see every year, it brings everybody together, it forges friendships, and focus's the team collective energy on one problem. Its beautiful in its simplicity, wherein each character is there, no need to transition from one plot to another, plus the thought of being stranded in a building, the fact that snow could bring a city to it knees. Usually during a show it is the main characters rushing around to discover any connection to help bring a killer to justice, but when its a race to save themselves and their friends it pushes the level of drama through the stratosphere.

This was a really good episode. We get to meet the newest memeber of the team, Dr Peter Winslow.

It's true that I've never really liked Elaine since day one & I never could stand her much but in this episode she was great.

When Peter is exposed to an unknown toxin after beginning an autopsy the whole lab is under quarantine until they find out the culprit. Elaine stays by Peters side nursing him the whole time and refusing to give up on him or leave him alone. When Garret gets sick Jordan refuses to let him die & starts looking for answers.

I was really sad to see Elaine die while she was nursing Peter & even more touching was when Peter weak and sick got up and made his way to where Jordan & everyone else was to tell them something was wrong with Elaine.

Even though I wished they'd get rid of Elaine from the beginning I found myself saddened by her death, even more so when Jordan was crying at the end.
